I will play this game a bit more before the official review. But from what I have played it is a really good sport game.

I like this game... I just downloaded it. It didn't take long to get the hang of it. The only issue I had was using the Go touch pad. But, that's not a game issue but an Oculus controller issue. Perhaps, if you used the trigger to move forward and the touch pad for turbo boost, it would be easier to control. Just a thought...

What VR is meant for

While this app has some flaws that I'll detail in a bit, I think it deserves a 5 star rating for doing exactly what VR is supposed to do. Putting us in a position to do things from our living Room that we otherwise couldn't do. I had a ton of fun skating around the ice and putting myself in the position of a hockey player. The graphics and immersion are excellent, and the physics and the overall feel really makes it seem like you are skating. You can't use a swivel for this one, you'll need to be standing up and I feel like I moved around half the Room as I was turning and skating around. That's not a bad thing, that's a fun experience. In terms of flaws, there are 2 that really matter. Other reviewers will tell you that the controls are difficult, and they are, but take some time and get used to them and you'll find it become 2nd nature. The biggest flaw is that the stick is curved the wrong way! For a right handed player holding the stick in the right hand, the stick is curved the opposite way. This makes it difficult to have a natural shooting motion and even difficult to actually stick handle the Puck. Inexcusable really, and would be an easy fix. The 2nd biggest flaw is that there is no AI to play against. If we could play against an AI player and choose a difficulty level, that would be 100 times better than hoping someone is online or having to join a chat channel to try to schedule a game. Final request is when scoring a goal in the shoot out mode or free training mode, there should be some kind of noise and celebration and then the Puck drops back to center ice instead of the Puck staying in the goal and you having to try to dig it out behind the goalie.Great job developers, make these couple updates and this is one of the funnest experiences on the gear VR

Awesome!

Game is incredible for being on go...even though it's one handed you can control stick blade shooting high and low ,backhand or forehand ,goalies are pretty good and graphics great for age of game...wish had something like this on quest 2 with two hands..
