Haymaker is a physics-first VR combat brawler built around authentic body mechanics, reactive AI, and replayable close-quarters fights.

Step into a combat sandbox where every grab, grapple, block, and strike is driven by physics-based interaction. The core melee system is fully playable, making each encounter feel physical, responsive, and different.

Use gesture-based kicks and knees to deal damage, create space, interrupt attacks, or control multiple opponents in a crowded fight.

Combat is designed to be readable and reactive. Incoming-attack indicators help players recognize enemy strike intent in real time, giving them a chance to counter, block, dodge, or intercept attacks before they land. Fighters use active ragdoll characters, so enemies and teammates react dynamically to impact, gravity, collisions, and environmental objects.

Turn everyday objects into tools for combat, or spawn dedicated weapons. Grab, swing, stab, throw, and disarm using the same physics-driven interactions as hand-to-hand combat. Weapons react to momentum, impact, and positioning, allowing fights to shift naturally between fists, improvised objects, and heavier melee tools.

Adaptive AI - teammates and enemies can predict target positions, choose suitable attacks, and improvise with nearby objects, creating more dynamic encounters.

Highly recommended, very realistic.

Out of all of my boxing/fighting games I always looked for a realistic knockout, but some games can’t give that, maybe because the game only has animated knockdowns or the whole body goes limp, but on this game the body doesn’t go limp and they don’t have animated knockdowns(at least I don’t think so). I have a lot more to say still and may finish the rest of my review later.

Good game but I wish there was more!

I’ll give it 4 stars because I’ve been playing this game for about a week now and I’ve realized when you try to break bones it’s very hard to do most of the time but besides that it’s a really good game and i honestly feel like you guys should add more gore like slashes from the blades and more bruising for blunt weapons. I also think you guys should make it so we can see both our arms instead of just our hands, I think it would be good for the style of the game. Also firearms and bullet holes and stuff would be cool too with more maps!👍

READ BEFORE BUYING!!

The games fun, it has solid realistic combat and weapons that actually feel grounded instead of plastic toys. But the blocking system is basically a joke. It’s too easy to abuse, and enemies weirdly turn into unkillable statues the moment they swing. Kicking is also clunky and unintuitive, like it was added as an afterthought and never touched again. Early access explains some of it, sure, but it doesn’t really excuse how empty it feels content-wise. There’s not much to actually do once the novelty wears off. What it really needs going forward is modes that are maps with usable tools, and enemies that don’t immediately jump you like they’ve been waiting their whole life for this one moment.

Let them hands GO! 🔥 5/5 ⭐️

There's more here than meets the eye! It's not really a game campaign. It's more like a contest of who can last the longest. The setup is simple, but the fighting is very detailed. It's just fun and satisfying for fighting sim lovers. Throwing the hands is fun, but learning that arsenal of moves, the grappling, the knees, etc, makes it more in-depth! You really have to play it through to see how detailed it is. If you love to fight in sanboxes, Haymaker is definitely for you! There's so much potential to make this game greater than 5 stars!

Honest review.

I’ll be honest. This game made me sweat so much I could literally twist the sweat off my shirt. (I admit it was also very hot) and I’ve lost a insane amount of fat. 5kg to be exact. In 3 days since I bought the game. 5/5 Stars would recommend if you wanted to lose weight / wanna have fun while doing it
