"Puzzle Paradise in VR!"

GridTsugi is stragegy planning brilliance! It takes the calm satisfaction of moving bridges to connect islands and elevates it into an immersive VR world that I found engaging. The mechanics are simple to learn but devilishly clever, making every level feel like a satisfying “a-ha!” moment when you crack it. Clean visuals, smooth controls, and perfectly paced difficulty make it both relaxing and addictive, the kind of game you pop into for “just one more puzzle” and suddenly an hour has vanished. Even if you have not a lot of room the controls are so good you can manipulate the playing area so easily, this is great to add to your Quest library!

I really enjoyed this puzzling type app

I really didn't expect to enjoy this app from what I saw in the description and presentation trailer, but boy, was I pleasantly surprised. I only completed 2 levels so far, but they were challenging and quite fun to solve, putting the correct amount of bridges connecting the little islands. I definitely would recommend this app.

A puzzler for your brain

Building bridges is the name of the game I played in mixed reality, it looks good and plays well I love puzzle games so this hits the mark. Joining the islands is the goal, and it’s very easy to get into and understand what needs to happen. Fair play to the dev.

If you like doing Sudoku's, get this!

While I don't think this game is perfect (still early access), I can say that I enjoyed my time with it. The concept is great, you must place simple or double bridges to connect islands, but it must add up to the number written on the islands. The thing is, the more you advance the harder it gets, but when you succeed it is very satisfying. I really wish you could resize the map though, but overall It's a fun relaxing puzzle game.

Scratches that cozy puzzle hitch

Lately I've been into playing lots of puzzle games, and GridTsugi scratches that hitch in VR. Your goal is to put in bridges between islands, but the island can only support the amount of bridges that is indicated on top. You can only generate a single or a side by side bridge, which counts as 2. It's really fun and a great brain teaser. You have to go through a process of elimination to clear off bridges where you're 100 percent certain of the pattern, and as you keep going, it becomes more clear on what you need to do on other islands. As you keep going, you'll unlock more cosmetics for the level that you're in. I really like this neon-retro-wave like world while putting some synth music in the background. And since we're close to Halloween, they even have a nice scary theme here to put you in the mood. Even if you're done all levels, they are procedurally generated, so you can replay them with a completely different setup each time. They also recently added a leaderboard, so if you're looking to compete to get to the top, that's an option. GridTsugi is currently in early access and some nice updates are cooking soon. You can currently play in Mixed Reality mode, but there is a full VR adoption in development. You can expect more levels, better water shaders, and they're also teasing a Cozy Update, which I'm curious about.
