I have noticed an increase in poor reviews which is really a shame that people would post just to undermine an app that they don’t even play. I have been playing this game since inception and nothing comes close to being the quality that this game has shown over the years. Giving an app a poor rating just to boost a competitor’s app is beyond unethical and quite frankly childish. I have seen many ratings by players I have never seen before and probably would not ever play with just because of how they conduct themselves. Beware of the trolls who give their opinion on this app because this game is the best on the platform . Golf is a game of moral ethics and discipline and it’s a shame to have a few people ruin it for those who want a quality game.

Serious golf

I’m an experienced real‑life golfer (12 handicap) and a Golf+ player practically since the day it launched. I admit that Golf+ is a fun game, but I eventually grew tired of the inconsistencies in its physics. I learned how to hit better or worse shots, not by applying my real golf technique, but by using a technique specific to the game. I even managed to finish under par several 18‑hole round while sitting in a chair with with an injuryon my ankle . I only recently discovered Golf 5, and it’s a completely different world. Here I’m actually playing golf, making a real swing just like on the course. I instinctively know, just as I do in real golf, when I’ve hit a good shot, or when and why I’ve missed. I currently have a 13 handicap in the game and, just like in real life, and I can’t seem to improve it anymore, proof of how incredibly accurate the simulation is. Golf+ still has the advantage of offering more courses, but Golf 5 more than makes up for it with far superior realism, graphics, and immersion. If you’re a golfer, I strongly recommend giving Golf 5 a try. If you just want to have some fun and don’t mind ruining your real‑life swing, then stick with Golf+. Gianni

Golf 5 is way better than Golf+

Not sure why so many are saying golf+ is better. It may be because I prefer playing alone and don’t really care about the multiplayer aspect since in golf 5 there aren’t as many people on it. Everything else though is far better in golf 5. The graphics are much clearer and crisp while maintaining smooth framerate (golf+ was pretty choppy even at a lower resolution) The physics and camera views are better. The overall presentation seems more professional and makes golf+ feel like an arcade game. Another plus is that it’s cheaper and courses don’t cost as much. It would have been perfect if it had pebble beach but it’s got st Andrew’s which is just as good. Even the free courses are satisfactory enough.

Own both Golf+ and Golf5 the winner is

As my title says I own both of the premier golf games for my VR headset. I just purchased golf five today and I have to say I do believe it edges out golf plus in a few areas, namely the graphics are a much higher resolution when you set them to extreme. I also like the way The layout of the game is in relation to viewing the shot viewing the tracking and all the metrics that this game keeps. Golf plus edges it out with just a sheer number of courses, players, and shop items that you can purchase. However, golf five will absolutely get there overtime as they add more courses and options. You can’t go wrong with either game, however, golf five is now feeling my weekends rather than golf plus

The Most True to Life VR Golf Experience

I’ve been playing Golf 5 eClub for about 3–4 months, and it’s quickly become my favorite game on the Quest. Compared to Golf+, the physics here feel much more realistic — every slice, hook, and off-center hit shows up, and I love how unforgiving it is because it keeps me challenged and improving. I even built a DIY club attachment with a dumbbell bar taped to my controller, and that extra weight makes the swing feel way more natural. The only weak spot is the putting. Greens roll too fast, short putts can feel off, and there’s no way to adjust speed or sensitivity. A little more tuning there would make this the complete package. Seeing more courses implemented into the game would be amazing like Oakmont, Pinehurst, Torrey pines, TPC sawgrass and hell, why not Augusta National. The list of courses could go on and I know it takes time, recourses, and overall skill to code and design those courses but it would be so cool to play some of the highest rated courses for a literal fraction of what it would be in real life. ⸻ Pros: Realistic ball flight and physics Challenging and less forgiving than Golf+ Weighted attachment adds a lot to immersion Feels close to real golf Cons: Putting feels too quick and unnatural No green speed/sensitivity settings Turf/ground contact not always accurate Minor calibration issues with attachments Overall: The most authentic VR golf game I’ve played — even with its flaws, it’s the one I always come back to.
