Disappointing on the Quest 2

Enjoyed the original on the Quest 2, but I believe the developers forgot how narrow the field of view is for the Quest 2… the original classic mode gave you an indicator that a piece of fruit is out of your view- that is now gone making this not near as good as the original. Don’t trust all the reviews giving away a code- game is way overpriced- a major lemon on the Quest 2.

SO much better than the first

Been playing for a bit, and the new archery mechanic is so fun, it is very easy to get the hang of and the bow skins look AMAZING (you can unlock archery by just climbing up until you find a sort of waterfall area and on the lily pad there are little mini games with the sword, get to lvl 10 using that). Also, the slicing is so much more satisfying in this game than the other, and the open world mechanic of it makes it so much more immersive compared to the first. There is a beat saber style mini game, although a bit janky, it is fun but feels a little off. 8/10 would recommend if you like beat saber and the original fruit ninja VR, as well as other games like it.

Fruit ninja 2

Fruit ninja 2 is an amazing vr experience but mostly as single player. The multiplayer should get some more modes and some updates to the social hub. Maybe a mode could be who could last longer on classic or who can get a higher score on rhythm levels. Another good update would be like the NPCs have quests and you need to go to a special location and defeat something, or maybe you would need to find things, (like the npc in the dojo garden would give you something if you return all the golden fruit) and there needs to be more blades. There is a wide variety but once you unlock them all and do all the quests there really isn’t much to do. I think the next update should focus more on gameplay and longer to get single player 100% (getting all blades, A+, etc.). This game has so much opportunity to be added into it, mostly into multiplayer.

Disappointed

My son has fairly severe autism and was used to the PSVR version where the swords just "stuck" to his hands. He didn't have to figure out picking them up and keeping the buttons held to prevent dropping them. You could have kept it simpler for kids with special needs and small children or at least provided that option.
