September 4, 2026
The landing tutorial has been added to the Flight School Missions
Soar across beautiful skies in Flight Unlimited.
The first full fledged flight simulator for the Meta Quest.
Flight Unlimited uses advanced optimization techniques to bring console and PC quality visuals to the Quest.
Early Access
Flight Unlimited is in Early Access. This means the game will be updated frequently with content, feature updates, and bug fixes.
Player input is encouraged. Thank you for your support as we work towards building the ultimate Flight Simulator on the Quest.
The early access price is discounted. The full release will be $39.99
Quest 3 vs Quest 2
The game has improved graphics and draw distance on Quest 3, but runs on Quest 2 with reduced graphics settings.
Flight Model
AAA flight simulation physics with realistic aerodynamics, engines and aircraft components. All forces on the aircraft are calculated in real time based on standard aerodynamic principles and formulas.
The Flight Model is going through constant updates. We're aware of current bugs and are improving the model.

WOW! CONGRATULATIONS to the developers! I am an FAA-licensed IFR pilot. I wanted to "fly virtually" when I couldn't fly in reality. I was very frustrated searching for a stand-alone Q3 flight sim app that actually felt like flying a real airplane with a working instrument panel. And buying a $2K-$3K "gaming PC" just to run MSFS 2024 was a non-starter. This is NOT a "combat" or "scenery-flying" game, but one that gives you realistic flying feel. That's what I was primarily looking for. I can play "bang-bang shoot-em-up" games elsewhere. DEVELOPERS: Please stay focused on tuning the "pilot experience" of all the REAL skills like accurate handling & physics, shooting IFR approaches and doing "touch-and-gos". Leave the pretty 3D scenery to a lower priority. SUGGESTIONS: It would be great to have a "pop-up" type set of reminders: 1) how to interact with ALL the instruments for each aircraft; 2) reposition the cockpit to fit my chair position; 3) re-mappable controller buttons. Consider adding: a) using the hand-controller "twist" action to control the rudder; b) set up approaches in a Flight Director; c) a "glass cockpit" version on some aircraft (like the Cirrus SR22T). Please focus on building all the features nto your app that make MSFS 2024 a realistic "pilot experience" and not worry about pretty scenery. Realism, controls, configurability, interactability. KEEP GOING! You have my attention and support! You're off to a great start. I just hope you can sustain your momentum. PS-I've read ALL the reviews thus far, and most of them were expecting MSFS-like sophistication and scenery right off the bat. For my money, focus on the feedback that tells you about how to improve the "pilot experience". I would challenge those reviewers to find ANYTHING CLOSE to this app on a stand-alone Q3 flight sim. No cables, no subscriptions, no expensive PC. Just pure flight joy!

To all the user's that were expecting perfection may I remind you this is early access on a stand alone headset yes its buggy and takes some time to get use to but I am sure the developer is hard at work on updates and patches I recommend this based on the fact the sheer scale of this project and buy this if your willing to wait for patches if not buy a gtx 5020 and microsoft flight simulator vr then you might appreciate the hard work that has gone in to this project However dear developer I do have one small request which would make this game shear perfection for me even in early access is the bell helicopter I would happily pay any price for this hope you read this and keep up the good work look forward to future updates

I didn't have big expectations when purchasing the game. I knew it would be a work in progress. The game is definitely not a 1 star game for sure. It isn't 4 or 5 right now either. Both 1's and 5's are misleading reviews at this point. There are minimal cockpit instruments to control right now. The flaps are an issue. I tried toggling the flaps to get different degrees and it either went no flaps or full. I jumped in the f18 and it just kept crashing as soon as it loads. Flying the plane actually is fun and the yoke is fine with adjusting the sensitivity to your liking. Trim controls are difficult because you have to use the tablet. Every time I adjust the trim the throttle goes back to full which is frustrating. I am sure a lot of this will get worked out but I hope this company isn't just relying on the community to find bugs. I hope they have testers noticing these issues as well. I did notice some sky tear at Moffet and some weird shadowing at Everest. Overall it is middle of the road right now. I am a developer and I think I would have just focused on the Cessna first. Getting all the instrumentation working and the flight engine up to speed. I think then it would have been easier to build the next plane and so on. I do like it though.

Terrible game. Environment and scenery are awful. Usability awlful. Waste of money. Can I get a refund? I lasted about 30mins of frustration and being underwhelmed and won't go on it again. There are better flying games on the quest. I will give flying on the pc a go.

The game is not perfect, of course. It is running on Quest 3 and even Quest 2, which is very limited hardware, and it is still in Early Access. That being said, you can clearly see that the dev team has put a lot of effort into it and has already done a solid job. What really annoys me is seeing people complain about an Early Access game. First, they complain that there are not many options on Quest. Then, when a new game actually shows up with an Early Access tag, everyone starts criticizing it instead of understanding what Early Access means. Flight sims, especially the more hardcore ones, are a very niche genre. The studio could easily be making another generic MMO and selling skins, but instead they decided to build a flight simulator. Comparing this to a Microsoft flight sim running on a monster PC with a high-end GPU makes no sense. That kind of overly picky feedback just pushes developers toward making more and more dumbed-down games. I trust the dev team and believe the game will keep improving with updates and fixes. I am keeping the game, supporting the project, and I want to congratulate the developers for what they have achieved so far.
