Engaging and ideal

I left it a while before doing a review even though I have been impressed from the start. I quit smoking a year earlier and hitting 50s, gaining weight and achingly aging. I wanted something that would engage me enough to keep at it. Months later I do a VR workout usually combat or box, once or twice a week and it is the best cardio experience I’ve had. Tons of choice, timing and level. I got the weight comfortable again, feel much fitter and lost the aches. I look forward to the workouts and it has improved how I feel about myself and my outlook big time.

Though not Supernatural it shines!

I came to FitXR after being a Supernatural user for years, though I will be honest in recent months I have fallen off pretty hard with the removal of coaches and lack of new updates. I got an ad for FitXR one day and gave it a shot. I was extremely surprised with how much I enjoyed it! There are some downsides (compared to Supernatural) but the things it does right it does RIGHT. PROS: -Great feedback loop with seasons and different daily challenges which pushes me out of my comfort zone. -Extremely easy to do your class "community style" to challenge yourself a little more. -Great amount of tracking for those keeping an eye on exercise and activity levels. -Very nice and supportive coaches (though none will ever replace Coach Ranier in my heart). -Many different exercise types to really mix up what you are doing for your routines. Cons: -Music selection isn't as good as Supernatural (though I feel that was one of SN's downfalls with the licensing). -Flow is quite good in FitXR but not quite as snappy as SN yet but I feel like it is getting better by the day. -The environments are very cool but sometimes I do miss the panoramas that were in SN. TLDR: there are so many things that FitXR does right and if you are looking for something to fill the void left by supernatural I would 100% give it a try!

Exceeded expectations

The workouts and coaches are incredible. Absolutely can not get enough and look forward to my sessions. After 7 days I can already see and feel results. Sign up for the trial I ask so glad I did. Update. After 7 weeks I am still excited to get on fit XR everyday. I've branched out beyond the boxing and combat and sprinkle in the sculpting, the HIIT even a little bit of the dance class. As well as actually trying the community rooms to share classes with others. I never IRL would I join a fitness class it's just not my thing. However doing it from the privacy of my home with the Privacy levels I am comfortable with. This is a game changer, workouts are so much more intense which I really enjoy. Excited to see where I will be in 4 months. The two months in have been transformative. I'm stronger and have oodles of stamina. Additionally my confidence is soaring because I'm comfortable with myself again.

Making exercise very enjoyable!

I absolutely recommend this app as I have done it straight for 50 days so far and I dont want to quit my streak! I love the instructors and they really motivate me to do my best. I have noticed that my arms are a lot stronger and more defined and I have lost a few pounds. Dont hesitate to try it and for me, it is worth the money. I can work out in my home, when I want to and I really enjoy the exercises as they feel like fun, motivational games. How cool is that!

Subscription is a hard no

I would be perfectly willing to purchase a good boxing/fitness app, and in fact have purchased several. As a one-time investment, it's a good buy. But a subscription? Having to pay for the same app over and over again? No thank you; there are plenty of other equally good options available that don't demand I continue paying them ad infinitum. It's a shame, too; it's a decent app and it used to have a conventional payment method and I used to use it on a different account. I would have even bought it again for this account. It's not, however, good enough to tempt me to continue paying for it indefinitely forever. I'll come back if they ever decide to let you actually purchase the app again. Until then...pass.
