Outerloop Games

Bond with a baby falcon and go on an adventure. Falcon Age is a first-person, single-player action adventure where you’ll play as Ara in her fight to reclaim her cultural legacy in the lost art of falcon hunting against a force of automated colonizers. The game starts on a dying colony planet with its culture destroyed, resourced depleted, and turned into a desert by machine invaders. Ara’s been wrongfully thrown in jail for a minor infraction. While she awaits her fate in a lonely cell, she passes the time by befriending a young falcon. Together they escape and set off on an adventure to help the resistance reclaim their freedom and drive off the invaders.

The pet falcon makes the game

Pros: The most detailed part of the game is the bird. Developers really took their time with it. The story is there, too. The progression isn't that difficult as there are hints. The falcon is *The Coolest* and I am bonded with it! Cons: Multiple glitches. The most annoying glitch is the menu for the waist bag inventory. It often pops up behind me and even rotating around keeps it behind me. The only way to fix it is to keep moving and re-opening the menu. The landscape is a bit bland and repetitive. It's a desert with cacti and rocks and that's about it. This has the potential to be a 5 star game with some more time spent fixing the glitches and possibly adding some excitement to the scenery.

The Best Bird! 🐥

Gameplay here on Youtube: https://youtu.be/VD-8pj4xqAY First off, I love this game! This offers a fun little action adventure game that offers about 3/4 hours of content for completion of the story with some additional time for gathering customisation collectibles for your gorgeous falcon! The graphics are great, combat with the Falcon is always a spectacle to see and actually requires a bit of strategy as you take out the enemies in different ways. As roam the relatively large map you will also be gathering resources and hunting animals to make meals that act as healing potions and temporary buffs for your falcon. There is a good message here with the story but just as it gets really interesting the game kind of stops, seems like a set up for future games, which I would love to see. Ultimately the Falcon and the interactions you can have with it make this game and for that alone I would recommend it! 😁

I’m stuck in a glitch please help!

First I would like to say I love this game. Like everyone else said, the bird is completely awesome...I love my falcon. The game play does have glitches here and there but there generally small hiccups, it happens and you keep going. So, unfortunately, I have come to a glitch that won’t let me progress and I’ve been stuck for about a month now. I’m just after the part where I helped the tribes people take back the land where they will start planting crops and I’ve been told to go pick up some type of seed from the Aunt. Well as soon as I step up to talk to her my character is frozen..I can’t move my hands I can’t leave the circle, nothing works and the Aunt is just staring at me waiting for my dialogue and I can’t do anything. I’ve shut the game down and opened it back up and this happens every time. The only thing I haven’t tried is uninstalling and reinstalling it bcause I’m afraid I’ll lose my progress. If I could please get some help with this so I can finally continue in the game that would be so appreciated cause I really was having loads of fun with my falcon. Hahaha Thanks in advance

So far so great!

As my title suggests I haven’t finished the game yet, but so far I am absolutely loving it. It’s a little bit puzzle, a little bit adventure, a little bit strategy and just a touch of luck for reading the map. Starting off in a dystopian alien world prison surrounded by evil robots you plunge forward into a full-blown adventure with a pet falcon and learn how to train it to lend you a helping hand in many different ways. So far the only complaint that I have is how difficult it is to read the map. There doesn’t seem to be a way to zoom in or blow it up, it’s a little bit clumsy to pull it out and put it away, So if an update could help with any of those this game would be absolutely six star worthy.

Wasted potential

The story begins and we get directly attached to our friend in misfortune. The graphics are rudimentary but are not necessarily embarrassing. The principle is very interesting, the story looks well constructed. Unfortunately, the game looks more like a beta (see alpha). Too many bugs will prevent you from enjoying this experience to its full potential. The movement control is extremely poorly managed, you have to move forward and backward with one joystick and go left to right with the other ... A single joystick for movement would have been more relevant. Your belt does not turn with you, you may turn on yourself, the bag and your weapon will always stay in the same place. It is not easy to grab your gun behind your back if necessary ... In the end, it's a game with good potential, with a good story, endearing people but which is marred by bugs that literally prevent you from playing. Pity...
