Meh…

It’s OK, but it’s not great. I got it after buying Affected: The Manor. Honestly I thought this would prepare me for the really scary ones (The Exorcist). So far I’m not loving it. The fact that you keep dying and have to repeat “tests” is kind of tedious and takes you out of the moment. The fact that the character you embody keeps talking is weird. It makes me feel like I’m two people. I’d rather just be myself (I may scream and swear but I’m less annoying). If you have money to spare or if it’s on sale, go ahead and get it. It’s OK. Regarding motion sickness: this is by far the game that gives me the most nausea. I found a decent solution: play sitting on a swiveling chair and set the direction to follow the direction you’re looking in and walk slowly (with your thumb - you know what I mean). This method helps considerably.

Honestly eh

When i was first introduced to face your fears It was pick your fear and you experience that fear standing there. Number two is okay, but I really liked number one because they had a fear of spiders' room. They had a fear of height's room. They had a fear of pottergeist, which was really cool because you were stuck in a bed like you were a kid, and you were looking around a room with creepy stuff happening. This one.You travel around a haunted house which I believe has been done too much.Bring back the first face your fears

So far, disappointing

The navigation isn’t good. When you’ve played games with great navigation and then play this game with subpar controlling it doesn’t entice you to wanna learn, it’s annoying. Frankly, the time that I’ve played this game -it didn’t dazzle or make a lasting impression enough to pique my interest to wanna find out what’s next. I think game makers have a responsibility to put the time and work in to make quality content. I stopped playing video games after PlayStation 1 because there’s better ways to spend time than playing video games that I don’t love. Oculus Quest 2 was a game changer that got me excited about gaming again and some of these games they have out now are amazing and so much fun that I enjoy telling spending time playing them and tell my friends about them. When I find a dull game like this it’s more than annoying spending time and money on it and makes me regret the enthusiasm I spent on VR. Some games on Oculus Quest 2 are amazing and worthy of people’s time. I do NOT think this game is good enough to be for sale and it makes me question Oculus Quest’s reputation. Putting out subpar games that wastes people’s time and money is not okay. At least to me. But if others enjoy this game enough to spend the time to explore all the levels, then so be it. Not for me.

Not as good as the original.

I HATE that they did not port the original Face your Fears into the newer Quest . It was such a great showcase for VR. It was my number one pick game to introduce my friends to VR. Sure they were more like little movies than a game but even with that it was still more fun to go through than this game. I particularly have found memory of the Stranger thing dlc. Now this one is just passable , very generic. I rarely come back to it, actually I never do compared to the first one that I used very often. They really messed up with that sequel. I do not think they realize what people loved in the first one at all. This feels absolutely nothing like the original, it's just blah. Original had a wonderful seat back and enjoy simplicity to it with various scenarios each representing a different type of Fear to face , hence the name but this one has only two scenarios that feels very similar. This had to be my biggest VR disappointment and I regretted buying it because it just was nothing like the first one. If you liked the first one just look elsewhere .Title is misleading as it does not have the various fears to face the original had. Also it is just not fun to play. So,so disappointed and a little mad at the studio for erazing the first one out of existence. They do not realize what they had in the first one. Maybe they were just too ambitious ? I do not know.

Im a Haunted House Actor..

I gave you 5 stars. Because i know how hard it take to make a game on the unreal engine. I was working on Unreal Engine myself. This is so worth it. But can always be improved. I hope face your fears 1 go on the oculus quest 2 soon....... Check out my video of part 1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Izh7zndSSWs&feature=youtu.be *Here is my Rank System for Face Your Fears (the Investigation) * (1 Out Of 10) ============================================================ Graphic - 8 (The Graphic was ok in my book. I would not say they was the best. But scenes was pretty good. Being a haunted house actor. We love our scenes. You can always. Improve on graphic. But overall it was a nice experience. Game Play - 9 Work Out - 9 (This game gave me a good work out. My arms would get tired from climbing. Holding them up for long time. Also the scares. Took a lot out of you. So worth it. My headset was kind of wet when i was done.) Fun to play - 9 Long Game Play - 8 (Being a gamer myself. I want to know. That what i pay for is worth it. The long game play and the jump scares. Made me feel like i was at a haunted house in the real world. I got to be honest. It was fun experience. Like no other. ) Audio - 9 (Audio made you feel you was being watched all the time. It gave the player the fear of the next jump scare.) Hand Tracking - 9 (Hand Tracking was on point. I did not have any delay at all.) Story Mode - 10 (The story mode on this game. Is really good. It was really thought out. I felt like i was in a movie. As you can hear me voicing everything that was happening in the scene. Being a Haunted House Actor. I can tell you this was one of the best scary games i ever played on the Quest VR 2. ) Notes ( I think you should put more things to grab in the game. Because a lot of times. I try to grab something. I could not grab it. It would make the experience more better for the player.) Overall 9 - 10 ===========================================================
