Perfect (for what it is)
I've owned this app since near its original release. I bought it because I meditate frequently in VR and this seemed to dovetail into my interest. I'm going to keep this review 100% real - this title isn't going to be for everyone, but if it clicks for you, it is an extremely engaging experience. The mechanic is somewhat difficult to discern: you must hold your arms open in front of you (as if offering an embrace) and this moves you forward in the direction you're looking. The higher you ascend in the (unchanging) chamber the faster you fly forward. Ascend enough and you'll be flying at incredible speed. Between the audio droning and the strobing from flying ever faster you can achieve an hypnotic state. Of course you can approach this experience differently and perhaps use it for traditional meditation, but IMHO it is more designed to trigger a hypnotic state. If you live in a 420-friendly state, you'll definitely appreciate this app. Again, this app isn't for everyone and the locomotion isn't intuitive or explained well. But the app delivers in spades and is well worth buying if any of what I described is of interest. I LOVE this app and regret not positively reviewing it sooner. It's a beautiful, impactful app that offers a unique, mind-altering experience.
