Possibly one of the most impressive use of MR I've seen to date. The game is broken down into small bitesized mission that play out in your scanned play space. There's something about physically go crawling on the floor to go under a laser or standing perfectly still as motion sensors pass over you Or seeing enemies bursting through a vent in your living room ceiling and rappelling down to kill you....that just sparks that inner child within me. Levels have some repeatability in form of unlocking "cheats" to mess around with but otherwise its a pretty short experience (that will just take a couple of hours to get through) But if you have the required playspace needed for the game....its simply one a must have MR experience both for your self and to show to non VR playing friends/family And as an EA experience there is possibly more to come in the future!! Warning - I believe the MR missions are included in Espire 2 so its a cheap way for you to experience just the MR element of the game. So owners of Espire 2 may want to just check it out in that. There's also a significant amount of space needed to play so keep that in mind.

Espire 1 and 2 were already ahead of their time, and Lode Digital once again proves why they are true pioneers in VR. As early as 2022, the studio was experimenting with advanced Mixed Reality concepts that are only now becoming mainstream. Espire: MR Missions builds on that foundation brilliantly. This experience features redesigned Mixed Reality missions inspired by Espire 2, resulting in 29 unique missions (21 small-scale and 8 large-scale). Stepping into the role of a secret stealth agent feels fantastic—think 007 in VR, but in your own physical space. The stealth mechanics are incredibly well crafted, the pacing is excellent, and the execution is rock solid. It’s one of those experiences I love showcasing to friends, just to watch their reactions as they realize how naturally MR blends with stealth gameplay. Espire: MR Missions is a must-have and easily earns a permanent spot in any VR library.

You are tasked with taking on missions, small and large, the game loads the missions into your scanned play area, which consist of stealth based gameplay, sneaking up on the targets unseen and unheard is key to success.. I liked the use of the voice commands in game and the xray vision, graphically impressive aswell very cool mixed reality experience highly recommended if you like stealth and mixed reality games

First of all, thanks to the YouTube channel @vraimentcoolofficiel and their contest for giving me the opportunity to play this game by winning a key. Looking at the video it seems cool but in reality you don't get to do anything... The game consists of 21 MR missions + 8 for "large spaces". However, although I've scanned other rooms, everything's going in the same room where I play. I play in a room of 30m² with furniture. The missions can go from 10" up to, let's say 2' which is not at all engaging. The replayability relies on the fact that you need a perfect score but it doesn't make me want to replay the missions. In every mission, the objective is the same: hack a computer and retrieve intel needing whether to neutralize the enemies whether to avoid lasers (or both). No real stealth, no puzzles, you just go with the tranquillizing darts and you use your weapon if there are robots. I've got to use the voice commands one time only. The physics are like Espire 2 (not really developed) and the MR is not really optimal with some glitches (sometimes ennemies disappear but we can see them in Espire vision). Although I like the Espire series game style, I cannot put a higher score for the moment as it doesn't meet neither the quantity nor the quality. I hope that we will see improvements in the future to a Hitman-like or escape room-like game.

This game is best described as playing mission impossible in your living room. Ducking lasers between my couch, go up to the enemy that just stands next to my own wall, silent take down, then take his weapon and unleash hell through a virtual window. There are a bunch of these scenarios. This game is the absolute peak of Mix Virtual Reality in the current generation. This game makes me wish that I have a much bigger house. I love that this is a perfect addition to the excellent Espire series.
