Disappointing
It's like someone printed out a blueprint for a great game, framed it, and called it a day. I was hoping for a Deus Ex-style dystopian open world. What I got was a brief, linear campaign that wraps up in about two hours, just enough time to realize nothing actually works properly. There are three enemy NPCs who can’t handle basic zigzag movement, and five others who just stand there like background props in a high school play. You can't drive any of the cars, despite being surrounded by them. The voice acting is flat, there’s no surround audio when you receive instructions from an NPC, cutscenes rely on AI art, and lag spikes happen regularly. The mission menu even closes itself when you try to check objectives, possibly out of embarrassment. One review mentioned the dev is listening to the community etc...I’ve yet to find a website, let alone a way to contact the developers. After this, I'm taking a break from getting my hopes up about the next great VR game. It’s starting to feel like a hobby based entirely on disappointment.

..... The PROS ..... Very smooth with Nice graphics with mirror tracing techniques being used (i assume) for reflections. love the potential of this title! A straight up shooter with a campaign, climbing, slow motion and its Straight Forward etc .... The Cons.... Disappointing A.i voices and character models.. and i don't like the mission set up... its overly linear... like just go to point A, now go point B, now go to point C.. i like simple but where is the creativity in 2025 🎨hopefully good updates come. i will still give this game a 4 because i still Like it, it attempts at good graphics on the floors but as the other reviewer said the script kinda bland and linear and i think after this game ima also stop putting my hopes up too high.. its a cool game... but in 2025 there should be more VR INTERACTIVE THINGS. COULD OF JUST STAYED ON FLAT SCREEN. ❗ Can be a GREAT game with some TLC.. lots of potential still ☑ UPDATE: as of 2025 JUN 5 save your money ❗ this was a con of a Game. The develper of this Game does not Talk, does not communicate. Check the Empty Discord if im Lying. This Game does no Updates and even if it did the developer isnt passionate enough or experienced Enough to deliver anything worth it. many other games better then this. wish i cam Refund but i cant. I Gave up trying to convince the develper to show signs of Life. ❗❗❗ i have gave you and UNDESERVED 4 initially, but the Reality shows why this game Review tank .... no passion no love = low profit and bad reviews... good day.. enjoy my $30

Impressed by solo dev
After spending a few hours immersed in Distortion VR, I have developed high expectations for its potential, especially considering it was created by a solo developer. The game's captivating story drew me in, making me feel genuinely invested in the mission to save the cyberpunk megacity. The gun controls are straightforward, allowing for quick engagement, while the enemies present an unpredictable challenge—some rush at you, while others lie in wait, ready to ambush. I found the enemy behavior to be suitably aggressive, which adds to the fast-paced nature of the game. However, players should take their time when navigating corners; rushing in can lead to a swift demise before reaching the end of a level. Although there are some minor issues, like missing colliders and occasional clipping that can affect immersion, I was able to overlook these flaws and still thoroughly enjoy my experience. That said, I do wish the release date was postponed to allow for further polishing. The developer has shown a commendable dedication to the project, being receptive and responsive to player feedback, and actively working on improvements. This commitment gives me confidence that Distortion VR has the potential to be an outstanding title in the genre.

Non-stop Action-packed
A fantastic game, with great visuals and a cool setting. It's extremely straightforward and, at times, really difficult, but I was immediately captivated and consistently motivated to continue. I'm having a lot of fun with it, and the price is completely reasonable.
