An atmospheric VR mystery adventure blending everyday school life, exploration, and supernatural horror.
It’s the last day of school before vacation. You take on the role of a teacher and prepare for the faculty meeting. It was supposed to be a perfectly normal morning.
But just as the meeting begins, a completely distraught construction worker suddenly bursts into the teachers’ lounge.
During work on the new fiber-optic connection on the school grounds, a hidden entrance has been discovered. Deep beneath the school lies an ancient vault. One of the construction workers went inside—and never returned.
Now it’s your turn.
Together with the construction worker, you descend into the darkness. What at first looks like a forgotten basement turns out to be a mysterious place that apparently existed long before the current school was built. You make your way through narrow passageways, ancient vaults, and hidden rooms.
Explore an authentic school during a perfectly ordinary conference day. Investigate the construction site and discover the secret entrance beneath the school grounds. Delve into a gloomy underground vault. Descend. Find out what lies hidden beneath the school.

It's much better, now that they implemented smooth turning over that godawful snap turning, but a speed slider in controls/options would be great! Thanks!

So far I've only done the first bit in the school which was a nice intro to the world however, door handles are not attached to doors? I can push/pull most handles right through the doors. Character shadows appear out of nowhere as you get closer and objects cast shadows through other objects. When entering areas sometimes the walls arent there and you see out into a grassy meadow. Walking speed is too slow and running doesn't seem much faster. But I do like this intro area just needs some fixes Ok once you go down into the ruins things get interesting but I dont really understand the enemy placement in the opening area. And unfortunately the walking speed feels even worse in combat and the melee combat feels wonky. I ended up trying to use magic when I had it as its just easier and I never like magic user characters lol. The enemies and magic effects look nice tho. Ill probably wait for a patch or 2 before trying again but this is a good start Edit - ok after patch 2 most of my issues are fixed but theres still a few. So in the school, picking things up is still odd. Some objects like the chalk seem to be inside your hand on pickup while some float a foot from your hand. In the Mensa the fruits still cast shadows through the table. In the tomb if you die you restart but any objects you collected are on your dead body. How am I alive if my body is still lying dead inside? And how do I get a weapon if said body is at the bottom of a pit trap? Much much better but still needs some work, its at a point where I feel I can play through it though The tomb area looks good and the areas are well designed, however it still just dont understand the enemy placement. Having so many different types of enemies in the same areas makes it feel off. And that dragon? Wtf can you even kill it? I unloaded the entire machine gun into it and several spells, hit it with the sword and it just keeps coming 😆 I really like the spell and fire effects in this game tho

DamnedSchool is a refreshingly unique VR experience that flips the script by letting you play as a teacher in a school—until things take a darkly magical turn. The game starts with a routine day, but an eerie opening shifts the atmosphere, thrusting you into a world where spells, magic, and monstrous creatures become part of your daily grind. The Harry Potter vibes are strong, and the quirky moments keep the tone lighthearted despite the chaos. As an early-access title, DamnedSchool is still evolving, with the studio actively refining bugs and expanding the experience. The unfolding story takes unexpected twists, making every session feel fresh. If you’re a fan of VR games that blend humor, magic, and a touch of the unexpected, this is one to watch—especially as updates roll out. Keep an eye on this one; it’s got potential to be a hidden gem! 🧙♂️📚
