The aim of Crane 4.0: VR for training is to offer crane operators, companies, and training centers an innovative training methodology, aiming to upgrade their professional skills. It has been developed thanks to the Erasmus+ program of the European Union. It facilitates the training of newcomers by giving them the chance to have a first approach to crane operations without taking any health or safety risk. Furthermore, this new technology helps modernizing the crane sector and its way to train new learners. Crane 4.0: VR for training has 4 different scenarios in which the user will perform 2 tasks in each:

• Module 1: Safety recommendations before the start of the journey & Communications for lifting loads. Maneuvering signaling codes. 

• Module 2: Worksite Preparation & Crane Setup – Outside.

• Module 3: Determining crane load weights & Load calculations.

• Module 4: Monthly Crane Inspection & Pre-operational checks of the mobile crane.

Unfinished Sim

There are four modules of training and when you get finished, it does not go further to let you operate the crane, it stops there at the compound where the where the crane is sitting it only lets you climb on board the crane one time and that is to verify the load weight. this should be clarified in the description .

Needs improvement

It's interesting, I did all the training hoping to at least get to lift and move a few loads and perhaps move a load in a blind spot using a signaler. Buttttt.....the motion sickness in this app needs fixing. It's very hard to move around.

Scam

I’ve purchased this and never been ever to simulate anything please refund my money!!!!

looks nice in the lab but...

Well, I never got a chance to play it, because the submit button doesn't work. Throw in the horrible motion sickness and you get... well, the second construction vehicle app with no real gameplay functionality.
