For the price it's asking I don't think it's currently worth it for the content currently available, I HAVEN'T finished the game yet but as far as I can tell even as a rougelite it's a little lackluster, the characters start with voices then slowly lose their voice overtime only defaulting to one or several voice line(s), unless I'm doing something wrong the end of mission overview if you win or lose looks the same and doesn't display any overview of anything, and there seems to be a texture problem where it's noticable that there are at random times small dashes that show an incorrect color of sorts, I can't currently recommend the game for the amount of content it has but I will update my review if they decide to implement more things to the game. --- Edit: I've beaten the game and it only took me roughly 4-5 hours because of how unnecessarily difficult the time limited levels were, there is only roughly 3 hours worth of content, once you've beaten the story and all the challenges there is no reason for you to return.

I have been played this from beta test. I'm not good at FPS game but the maps are not so serious and there are so many different types of weapons to be chosen. Those makes me to play for multiple times. I only hope that they make this to multi-player co-op supported someday.

Roguelites are pretty numerous in VR ao they have to do something to catch my attention. Chrono Hunter has some of the the most unique weapons that I've seen in game recently and its still surprising me all the time with its crazy inventive items (think an magicians hat where you can pull out bombs or a farting Unicorn gun !?!?) It has lots of cool perks you can find on your runs (a lot of which are more interesting than your simple damage/reload/fire rate boost) Also a unique meta upgrading system where you have make sure you can slot your perks in you upgrade cube. The game opens up a little way in with levels that really challenge you and are mostly separate from the main story. A surprisingly robust package and a gem that all rogue lite fans should pick up (fans of action/shooting games should also pick it up Its not the kinda of rogue lite where you start from scratch from death. Very level based)

The gaming experience is fantastic. There are rich map designs, and in the levels I have played, the maps have not been repeated, and I have played many interesting map mechanisms in them. The map guidance is also very simple and intuitive. I have no sense of direction, but I did not get lost. There are many weapons to use, and the wide range of options makes it difficult for me to choose. There are also plenty of upgrade options for bringing my own weapons. I feel like I can keep playing, I love this game so much.

I'm a huge sucker for good environmental design, and Chrono Hunter absolutely nails it. The lighting, the sound, the way each map feels distinct and lived-in... it's just top-tier stuff. I often find myself just stopping to look around. If you appreciate a game with a strong sense of place, you have to try this.
