Don’t buy this game – it’s a pure money grab. First of all, there’s no career mode at all – which is crazy, because this game could actually have an amazing one. For $20, you’d think they’d at least make something resembling a career mode, but nope – you can only fight against four opponents. The multiplayer mode is an absolute disaster – full of hook spammers everywhere. I loaded into four matches and lost all of them, three against some short characters (probably height glitchers) who just kept throwing body hooks. And no, you can’t block that. I fought at 100% every time. It’s not that I don’t know how to fight – I’ve been training MMA for about two to three years – but every time I landed solid punches, like for 159 or 137 damage, the opponent didn’t react at all. In this game, when you land a strong punch, your opponent is supposed to slow down or get stunned for a moment — but it just doesn’t happen. It only worked once, and even then the guy just sat down or laid on the ground while keeping his guard up, completely ignoring the impact. Even when I completely lit him up, I couldn’t knock him down, while his face looked like it got hit by a tank. In the last fight, the guy literally crouched and started spamming liver hooks – game over. The AI in this game is also terrible – it literally looks like it was made by ChatGPT. Another thing that frustrated me the most is fighting without gloves – your hands end up way further than they should be in-game, making it impossible to fight properly. The only good aspect of the game is the visible damage system – cuts over the brow, swelling, and bruising – but honestly, that’s all it has going for it. Worst $20 I’ve ever spent. Even Thrill of the Fight 2, which costs half the price, is much better. The only playable part of this game is single player. The biggest mistake I made was buying it blindly. Don’t get me wrong – the game has potential, especially if they added a real career mode and fixed the core mechanics – but with the current state it’s in, it’s an absolute mess. Sure, I know the game is in beta, but still — paying $20 for this is ridiculous. Not recommended.

worst boxing game on the market

This game is absolute garbage. Complete money grab. Thrill of the Fight 1 is better than this game, and that’s saying something. First off, multiplayer sucks. Hits don’t even register most of the time, and when they do, they no damage plus, I don’t even know why I’m the one being knocked down in multiplayer after taking a four hit combo that did barely over 150 damage and when I hit a three hit combo that does over 500 damage plus extra that I didn’t count, IT DOESNT EVEN STUN HIM! Also, on top of all that, blocking sucks in multiplayer. Defense is a huge aspect in boxing, so when I have to dodge my head off, IT GETS PRETTY ANNOYING. Those 3 things alone ruin the main aspect of the game, multiplayer or I’m guessing that it’s the main aspect of the game since single player has no variety. In single player, there are only 4 boxers you can fight and it doesn’t matter the difficulty, you always win. So it’s either suffering in multiplayer or being bored in single player. IT DOENST MATTER HOW BAD OTHER BOXING GAMES ON VR ARE, THIS ONE SUCKS. DO NOT BUY.

Best vr boxing game out there

This is the only boxing game I play and I own them all (Toft, toft2, creed, golden gloves, ect.) I’ve tried everything and this is the only game I constantly go back to, it’s miles better than toft2 and other boxing games. If you’re a fast paced street fighter (Nick Diaz style or Nate Diaz style) any styles like that you’ll love this game. Multiplayer needs some work but I’ve had no trouble other than spammers and hit registration/hit damage. Please don’t listen to the other reviewers this is the only game where you don’t have to punch literally perfect how the game wants. It genuinely feels like you’re fighting someone

Don't listen to the haters!!

First of all, I'm a former amateur boxer and a current pro MMA fighter. So there, before you start making assumptions as to who the F**k I am lol. This game is by far the best boxing game I've ever played. I love how it rewards you for your position when throwing punches and makes your power even harder when you know what you're doing. To all you haters that claim that it doesn't block, y'all are crazy, it blocked perfectly and it also allows your head movement to lessen the power of other players punching you. I have played against these so-called "hook cheaters" and I've beat many of them by creating angles and keeping my hands up, also countering like I would in a real fight, and it works perfectly. Theresn't and career option yet, but with the training, the quick fights and the online fighting I've been able to have fun, lose weight and better my skills overtime. I really suggest you compare it to any boxing game you ever experienced and I bet you this one is more fun, more realistic and its still growing little by little. Love and Respect to all the athletes out there. Let's get it!!

Nobody knows how to fight

Everyone spams in this game and say they are good. i do boxing irl and these people dont know how to fight, and you are cooked. If you have a small room, because people go in out of your boundary, I dont like stationery because I like to use footwork, and when I hit someone with a haymaker, they dont get knocked out and when hit them with a body shot there not knocked out and they need to fix the damage system and people spam why to much i really love this game it's fun but they need to fix it
