Assembly
The dock itself requires some assembly. The package contains a dock charging base, headset holder, and tower part that you easily snap together and position on the base. You plug a magnetic USB C piece into the headset, add included rechargeable batteries, replace the controller covers and you are ready to go.
Problems
The magnetic USB C piece occupies the headset port and cannot be used unless you plug it out. Which is a bit annoying especially if you use a link cable for PCVR. I also had trouble positioning controllers on the dock correctly. Never would get it right on the first try and I need to adjust a couple of times until they slide in and LED indicator lights up.
Conclusion
Zyber VR Skytower charging dock is a decent option for anyone on the market for a Quest 3 charging station. Elegant design and LED lights will make your VR headset a nice piece of home decoration and crucially, keep your headset and controller's battery at full capacity.
