Poor moderation has ruined Bigscreen. Many public rooms contain underage users, political and religious shouting matches, and explicit “goon” rooms with no enforcement. The lack of hand tracking and slow development only adds to the problem. What used to be a social movie platform is rapidly becoming VRChat without the tools or moderation to support it

When it works, I enjoy it, I don't use this app to talk with people, so I don't care about the annoying strangers in rooms that curse and act annoying. I just mute everyone when I join a public room and watch the movie I'm there to see. The experience is great. Watching a 3D movie feels like you're actually in a theater watching it. If you want my advice, avoid the social aspects unless you're with friends that you know.

Now this app is very good, as it has some neat environments, an easy-to-know way of hosting rooms (through Remote Desktop) and some very cool lighting effects in the cinema environments! HOWEVER. This app has a MASSIVE problem with racists, trolls and annoying children. I heard many people say racial slurs all the time and I saw LITERAL white supremacist content being hosted on there. Not to mention, trolls and immature kids are on the app, and they do nothing but disrupt the app's rooms and being utter nuisances to everyone. Overall, It's a great app if you avoid most public rooms and stick to more private-esqe rooms.

It’s amazing watching movies in simulated theatres, but I always have to mute or block people in every room. They’re always at least 2-3 people disrupting events and deliberately trying to antagonize viewers. The app needs to ban people who are routinely reported for.

Been here for 4 years and movies are great but the chat rooms are filled with screaming kids swearing f an n words The Ceo Darshan Shankar told me 2 years ago that there is NO moderation if someones insults you the just block that troll sometimes I meet very nice people but you have to wait and search for decent polite people 😀 so enter at your own risk
