Perfect Experience for Elders

I wanted to give my mom a new experience on Mother's Day, and this is the perfect app. There's no demanding mechanics or anything, you just point and click to enter the painting, then click again to get out of it. Really, it's the perfect experience for an elder who isn't a gamer. My mom who usually doesn't "get" digital experiences really appreciated it.

just wonderful

Please, Martin and Martin (the developers), continue developing this wonderful experience. The concept of being inside a painting in VR isn't new, but the execution by this app is truly AAA quality. Two stand out: being inside Vermeer's Girl Reading a Letter at an Open Window is like stepping back to Delft in the 1600s, you can look out the grimy windows and see the ships, ripples on the sea inlet, and the seagulls swooping as the young girl reads the letter from her lover. Wonderful. Better yet is to sit inside Starry Night, looking down on the little French town, with yellow lights in the houses, as the amazing sky swirls. But Martin and Martin, why did you stop at 5 paintings? I'd happily pay 5x the price for 5x the paintings, especially those with a real sense of ancient place. Or an impressionist or two...? Could you do a Monet? Please...

It's actually worth the five stars

Honestly, for £1.49, I truly cannot complain. It's five classic paintings that you point at and click a button to basically get sucked directly into, so you're standing there inside them created as fully 3D immersive versions of the 2D paintings, and they actually really do look and sound great. And, while utterly simple and limited to basically this and nothing more, it's all very solid and highly polished. I'm hoping they add some more images in updates down the line, because I really enjoyed the set that's there and would like to see more.

I would like to see more paintings adde

I would like more paintings to be added as downloadable content. If that happens, I would gladly pay to see them.

Mind blown!

Amazing! Download it... Pros: Art, art that surrounds you, high quality clear images of famous & maybe not so famous paintings but still really mind blowing. Entering the world of a painting sends you into a different dimension. Its like really being there... im trippin out! Honestly cant wait for more! 5* but 6* if you keep adding more paintings! Very well done devs! 💯
