Listen to Your Fan Base

I love Escape Rooms, both in VR and real life. In a real life Escape Room -- which you say you want to emulate -- it's true there's usually a timer. But they ALSO have a robust Hint System, where you can get a hint or two from staff (or otherwise) to help you get through a stuck point. In VR, the other great Escape Rooms I've played (e.g. The Room VR is among the best) allow for a Save Game system. Both features cut down on the frustration for users generally, since they may come to the game with different skill levels and puzzle-solving approaches. Your product -- while otherwise impressive -- has neither. This is baffling. Because even with a quick read through the first screen of Reviews I counted at least 5 people who have strongly suggested you remove the Timer feature, and/or allow Save Games. Yet you persist in defending the position that you want to "recreate" a real-life Escape Room experience. In my case, I have sadly given up because the stress / pressure of trying to finish before time runs out is NOT what I play for. As these Reviews begging for no Timer pile up, they will discourage other buyers of your otherwise-excellent game. Sad for everyone. I suggest you listen with a more open mind. The drumbeat is getting louder.

Nope.

Developer defends their “time limit” for “repeatability”. Nah dawg. I would spend time in these rooms forever but if you’re gonna give me cryptic puzzles and a time limit there’s a certain point where if you get stuck too long you can’t recover. That’s not good that’s just poor game design, I’m not going back to replay the level because I got stuck on a puzzle for a tad too long. No thanks. Enjoy your 1 star for the amount of times I’ll play this mess.

NO ESCAPE

"Even though Another Door: Escape Room fails to include analogue movement, it’s hard to deny that the game features a wide range of well designed escape rooms. With multiplayer support to help add a social element (which will prove handy for those trickier rooms), this will probably end up being the best escape room game in VR…. so long as they patch in smooth movement controls later on!"* *Note that this summary is now outdated due to the addition of free movement in the latest patch. Timer makes it no fun

With the timer, the game makes no fun. To repeat a room several times is just annoying. Those tile puzzles are no fun, either, several minutes of moving around the puzzle tiles... Because of that timer, only one star, it really destroys the fun.

Hours wasted

I’ll be honest I liked this game in the beginning and I think it has great potential. But I have spent nearly 12 hours trying to figure out the stupid sarcophagus puzzle. I have yet have have anything move. The in game help is of no help. It just makes me angry that it is illogical. The boxes move backwards. Just very frustrated. I wanted to relax not be vexed . Update the game to give better information!
