The only way to authenticate in this app is with name/password. For those of us with very long, complex passwords, it's a non starter to try this while wearing VR goggles. The developer needs to include alternative authentication methods that are more appropriate for this use case.

Sooo.... it's faster than when it was a movie theater and is basically a/r app now.. kind of boring .. honestly a better use of the prime in VR would be to allow friends to watch with you in the movie theater . That would have been awesome but you guys did away with that. Please make prime a multiplayer game seriously; Even if you charge extra for that feature I'd happily pay it if the movie theater had more than just myself in it .... In other words bring it back to that.. just make it good.. who wants to be in a theater alone .. better yet who wants to watch movies alone ... In a vr headset. It's logical ... Please give us what we truly want... Multiplayer prime haha seriously... Be the best you can be.. you will love the results.

The “upgrade” seems to have removed the major feature(s) that made it worth using? It no longer looks as if you are in a theater. There are just floating windows with either a dark background or that annoying/distracting one. I’ll just go back to watching on my phone or my tv. Why remove a feature that made the device worth getting/recommending!?

Recently when i try to watch something i only get an error message saying: "Video unavailable Error Code: PLAYBACK_RENDERER_ERROR We're unable to play your video right now. Please try again in a few minutes or contact Amazon Customer Service at [link to customer service]" I'm watching on a quest 3

This is a great addition to my library. A lot of the recent review say that they took away theater mode, but this is not the case. In order to activate it, you have to go to the top right corner of the screen and the option for full screen appears. This activates theater mode. I was able to watch my movies and TV shows in my home environment with everything dimmed down. It took a while to figure out how to do it. If you want and use Amazon prime in vr, then this is the app for you. The review lost a star because it was not very obvious on how to activate theater mode. Maybe the company should be more explicit in explaining these features. Hope this review helps people thinking of trying this out.
