A simple, maze escape game

This is a work in progress, so I will mark it as average for now.. as it’s bare bones at the moment, but with more development on it to come, I’m more than happy to revisit it and adjust my score accordingly. It has no sound, no instructions and no ending at the moment. It’s just enter and find the exit as fast as you can. The movement is smooth, and I like the graphics and animations of the controllers in your hands. Nice, easy and stress free maze escape game… suitable for anyone. Looking forward to see where this goes UPDATE: the walls now have a brick texture too them, there is lighting effects from the torches on the walls which is a nice effect. There’s now a ceiling that makes it feel more enclosed and immersive. Still needs work, as there’s just black squares for pits/holes… an actual hole that looks like a drop would be good or a trap door that opens when stood on. Also there’s lag when you fall as if you keep moving, you don’t fall down unless you stand still… also sometimes I’m a square away from the “holes” and I still fall down them. When you exit, the score still counts down when you move around although you have completed the maze. Menu needs a bit more work too.. being able to point at options with controllers would be better. Maybe have a dark maze, where you can pick the torches off the walls and carry them around for lighting… have spooky sounds like footsteps, distant chatting, screams, chains and echo’s ect.. Will give an extra star from 3 to 4, as the developer is still improving this game as it goes along, and every little helps

Lost Again, A mazing

Ok so this is very very early release. It needs an exit button to refresh restart, also music, maybe two levels hard with no help and easy where you get a marker to highlight your route. Maybe a selection of mazes easy getting harder, perhaps hidden objects to collect. I can see lots of oppertunities and I look forward to seeing where the dev takes it. As it improves I will revist my score. As promised I have revisited my score. The dev has been proactive in updating and improving the game and at its current price point and the continued updates in my opinion has become worthy of 5 stars.

Can't start game

The menu comes up, and is kind of blurry,8 but it won't let me click on the start button. Any ideas how to fix this? Once I can get into the game I will update the rating

Cool game with potential!

I enjoyed my experience with this game. The maze atmosphere was claustrophobic in the way it should be. Are there plans to add things like enemies, weapons, or things like keys to find to open locked gates/treasure chests? Or is the vision to be strictly a basic maze experience? The main criticism I can think of is that the jump feels overly long and floaty like an astronaut on the moon or something. It took me out of the experience a bit. Overall though, interested to see what features or updates get added in the future. Well done.
