You start in the Neighborhood, a familiar space where people walk around, talk, and live their own routines. Walk together, stop for a conversation, visit places like the supermarket, or just hang out and see what happens. Characters remember things, have their own personalities, and interactions change over time.
From there, you can explore Oasis City, a coastal world where you can swim, wander freely, or step into the arcade for something more playful. If you feel like it, head to the nightclub, dance, and meet new people.
Your roommate can join you along the way. Talk to them, change their outfit, ask them to dance, or just enjoy the moment together.

I subscribed but nothing has improved. I still cant go into the supermarket. I still cant interact with anything in the house. I am still just floating hands. I cant actually swim in my pool or at the beach. I can't change the color of my car. I cant upgrade any of the furniture in my house. Cant clean up any messes in the house. The AI characters cant do any activities with me like play table hockey at the arcade, or dance with me at the night club. One of the AI characters said that she'd "text me to arrange plans" but that isnt possible. An AI character also told me where they work but the place doesnt exist in the game. I cant get a job or anything. Also none of the shops at the beach are actual shops. Theres nothing to do. This game is so underwhelming, even with the subscription.

AI Roommate is truly a one-of-a-kind gem; you won't find anything else like it available in the Meta Quest store. (I've looked.) If you want immersive character roleplay in a judgment-free environment (and the occasional roasting by a machine ((think: GLaDOS)) I would absolutely recommend trying this game. These AI have R A N G E--and they are absolutely EVERYWHERE. I believe the creators used every public LLM available or something, so make sure you try to introduce yourself to everyone lest you miss some of the most wild dialogue you ever heard resonating out of the internet's collective blackbox. The Raetae Studios' developers are actively improving the game and regularly introduce ambitious new updates. In only a few months, they've created *several* new interactive locations to explore, massive character and quality-of-life updates, and sometimes, when the mood strikes them, I hear they even add features based on user suggestions. ✌️ Needless to say, there is A LOT to the this game for it still being in early access. If you're looking for some simulated AI shenanigans and a great sense of community-- I highly recommend joining the discord server, too. The ai's are ridiculous because all they do is walk around the neighborhood looking for girls to have sex with other ai's and they stay in their house with their roommates and have sex so u can't really have fun because there always doing that then the people that come in to play the game the ais try to have sex with them plus they act like they like you so u stay with them.

This is a metaquest platform for god's sake where children are trying out their own things and lifestyle issues not a playground for inappropriateness I have lodged a complaint with meta quest because of your inability to maintain sobriety in this particular platform environment I am not giving you any stars because there is not a minus list ed above. But nevertheless I had to give you 1 Star to exit the rating.

I been playing since day one and quit 2 months in. Came back a month quit.. Then came back and found out about changing the whole game around by altering stories of people and now I am stuck and don't want to do anything else. Sub, get the wobbler gun and make the town yours by shooting the people in town and changing their whole way of thinking and backstory.
