One of the most interesting apps on Go

We are only at the beginning of what VR can do to alter our brains (for good or ill). While most Pavlovian dogs are killing endless waves of zombies or beating their sabers in endless 'me too' copycat games, there *are* some genuinely interesting experiences that you can explore in VR. From exploring the far reaches of the world, to the possibilities of the inner world, VR opens the door to experiences we simply cannot have in our regular lives. I have tried pretty much everything out there (In more ways than one) - for my money this is the most interesting app for the psychological explorer - also the most professionally produced one. If you are bored with all those half-assed mobile games on this platform, give this one a shot. If you are looking for new VR experiences and want to explore the slightly more wild shores of VR - this is a no-brainer.

Relaxing games

I am not a fan of intense games in vr or 2d. If it has zombies or any shooting, I'm out. I'm a fan of relaxation videos, but sometimes I find myself getting bored with them if I've seen them before. Luminol satisfies me because the activities are low key. There is no goal and I'm not trying to compete with others or increase my performance. The scenes are visually pleasant, and the speed of the experience is on the slower side. The activity is different for each experience, but if I had to suggest a real world comparison, I would say maybe it is like throwing a dog a stick and watching the dog catch it and bring it back. Not physically strenuous, but very satisfying.

Relax or Energize

Since no reviews yet, another take on "relax" App, but also exercises to help increase energy. There are approx 20 experiences, created by different folks. that help focus attention and breathing, to help create a desired mental state Will take some time to figure them all out, but pretty neat so far, and worth checking out for sure

A great app RUINED by monthly subscript

New review, July 25,2020 This used to be a 5-star app, easily. Whenever I needed a pick-me-up, I could always count on Splat! to do it. I’d buy that alone for $5 if they’d let me. But not another subscription...you know, when developers started switching from selling a software license to a user to use forever to forcing the user to pay a monthly fee to utilize the software, I was a little worried. Then Microsoft released their subscription rate, which is less than $10/month, and this actually includes the entire suite, plus a ton of cloud storage, plus several users can utilize the software under the same master account, and I was relieved. Fast forward to today, and now we’ve got a huge percentage of apps demanding monthly fees from their users. If these fees were reasonable, like say $1 per month, perhaps this could become a reasonable retail model. However, most if not all, demand anywhere from $5 to $20 per month to use their software. This is ridiculous! When you look at what you get from Microsoft for less than $10, how can these developers possibly justify charging such exorbitant rates for the little they provide? I loved the free to use model of this app and am devastated that it has turned to this. What a disappointment. So, if you enjoy paying for subscriptions every month, this is the app for you! It has a few good relaxing and energizing games within it, but the best one is behind a pay wall, so if you want the best from this app, plan on shelling out the monthly fee. Old review: Fantastic mood altering app! I mostly use this app for the energizing aspects, as I’m on medication that makes it so I can’t have caffeine. My favorite is SPLAT! I use it all the time to boost my energy. And it never fails to make me HAPPY. It is a BLAST! The mood measuring before and after each experience is great. I also appreciate that new experiences are being added. Well done devs!

Breathing Pace Too Fast

This is an amazing experience with gorgeous imagery except that in my experience as a hypnotist, the breathing Pace is so much faster than I teach my clients that I found it too distracting to use. If you could slow down the pace or allow the user to adjust the breathing pace this would be an awesome app.
