Dart Racer is an impressive early access futuristic pod racing game with a truly revolutionary handling system. Clearly inspired by the iconic podracers of Star Wars Episode I (with a nod to Anakin), it combines nostalgia with fresh mechanics that stand on their own. The game offers a wide range of modes — from cup races à la Mario Kart to elimination, time trials, and first-to-finish competitions. On top of that, the sheer amount of customization is overwhelming, letting you fine-tune your racer to perfection. With QGO (Quest Game Optimizer) now supporting it, the HD+ profile looks absolutely stunning. It takes a few rounds to really master the controls, but once you do, piloting your Dart feels like precision science — smooth, sharp, and incredibly satisfying. The gameplay evokes memories of Wipeout VR while creating its own strong footprint in the genre. This game feels like a true labor of love from the developer, packed with content and passion. Already a ton of fun, with huge potential ahead. Highly recommended!

Great potential!

After I figured out how to steer (grab the bottom handles and rotate your controllers), I got some really fun experiences out of the current Early Access build. It’s still very early, but you really can see the potential of this game in the future. Loved the Star Wars pod-racing game as a child, and this definitely scratched that itch.

This dev did what Starwars Beyond didn't

Starwars: Beyond Victory gave us a third person table top pod racer because they played it safe not wanting to made a product that wouldn't only appeal to veteran VR users. This dev thought otherwise, and solid it ridiculously cheap. Excellent work, 5 stars

I've Needed This Game For So Long

I had absolutely loved the dickens out of the demo and played it lots. It is my childhood dream come true; I’ve always loved podracing and this is the closest and best experience I’ve ever had. Genuinely cried the first time I played it. If you are a speed junkie, or love sci-fi racers, I highly, HIGHLY recommend you support these guys.

Fantastic racer!

The unique control scheme really challenges you to study the mechanics and tinker with your approach. With many ways to reach the top of the leaderboards, you'll find yourself chasing the advantage of a fraction of a second in any way possible. The breadth of courses range from wide planetscapes to tight city levels with endless chasms and secret paths. Once you start, you cannot put down this perfect arcade racer.
